Vella Commits to Providing Assistance to Constituents in New District Office

ROCKFORD, Ill. – In order to provide high quality constituent service to the people of the 68th House District, state Rep. Dave Vella, D-Rockford, is announcing the opening of his district office located at 4007 N. Mulford in Loves Park on February 19. 

“I want the people of the 68th House District to know that my office is available to listen to their concerns and help where we can,” said Vella. “Unfortunately the pandemic has made accessing some of the vital state services incredibly difficult, especially for those needing to use them for the first time. I will work to be a voice in Springfield and find solutions to get real help for the people in our community that desperately need it.”

Vella’s new district office is set to open on February 19 to assist in navigating state agencies as well as a place for members of the public to share their thoughts about state issues or legislation with their state rep. The office is located at 4007 N. Mulford Rd in Loves Park and will be open weekdays from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. In an effort to prevent the spread of a COVID-19, visitors are encouraged, but not required, to make an appointment.  Facemasks and social distancing will be required while in the building. Residents are encouraged to call to learn about upcoming legislation or state services such as emergency programs for small businesses affected by the pandemic.

By opening a district office, I will be best able to listen and help the people of our area,” said Vella. “My team and I are committed to helping local workers and businesses and restoring faith in government to help build a stronger Illinois.”
