DES PLAINES, Ill. – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plaines, is asking residents to send in ideas for new legislation ahead of the beginning of the 102nd General Assembly and new legislative session.

“When I go to Springfield, I want to make sure that the priorities of our community are well represented,” Moylan said. “As we continue to face a series of unprecedented challenges, I want residents to share whatever ideas they may have to improve Illinois.”

As the start of the 102nd General Assembly draws nearer, Moylan is encouraging residents to send in ideas for new legislation. All ideas for bills that residents feel will benefit their communities and Illinois will be considered. Residents wishing to submit ideas for bills may send them to Moylan’s district office at StateRepMoylan@gmail.com.

“In order to effectively address the issues currently facing Illinois, we need fresh ideas and creative solutions, and I firmly believe the best ideas will come from working directly with residents to understand exactly how they are feeling and what they are experiencing,” Moylan said. “It is a great honor to serve the 55th district of Illinois, and I look forward to hearing what local residents want to see done.”
