VILLA PARK, Ill. – To help local families struggling to overcome ongoing economic uncertainty amid the COVID-19 pandemic, state Rep. Deb Conroy, D – Villa Park, hosted a community diaper donation drive to benefit the Outreach House in Lombard.

“As a mom of four, I am fully aware of the dynamic and competing challenges that come with raising children day-in and day-out, and that’s even without a pandemic and widespread unemployment layered on top of that,” said Conroy. “When my interns and I learned about the great need for diaper donations to support local families in need, we knew we had to step up and help, and make sure families in our community know that they are not alone. Thanks to the generous contributions of our community, the efforts of our diaper donation drive are now helping families who need them most.”

Conroy’s diaper donation drive drew in a total of 4,996 diapers for infants and 1,713 for adults.
