JOLIET, Ill. – To help families facing food insecurity due to the COVID-19 crisis, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, recently partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to distribute food at a pop-up food bank in Joliet.
“Since so many residents have experienced unexpected hardship due to the pandemic, many families are now food insecure,” said Manley. “No family should have to choose between keeping a roof over their head and putting groceries on the table, especially during a pandemic. I am proud to see our community and organizations like the Northern Illinois Food Bank come together during these unprecedented times to help our neighbors in need.”
