SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – To help address blood shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, recently hosted a blood drive.
“Blood banks across the country are facing an unprecedented shortage as many blood drives have been cancelled over the last few months due to the pandemic,” said Mussman. “For those that have been in accidents or have health conditions like sickle-cell anemia, a blood transfusion can be the difference between life and death. I want to thank the residents that came together to help provide this precious resource to those that need it in our community.”
