“Illinois is starting to get back to work and overcome the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I want to ensure that our community remains as close and informed as possible,” Pappas said. “’Pastries with Pappas’ events give community members the opportunity to hear about the priorities and concerns of everyone in our community. Whether the issue is the continuing economic impacts of COVID-19, managing healthcare bills, or the new state budget, I’m interested in hearing what everyone has to say. I hope to see you on Saturday.”
