CHICAGO – Working to address unemployment, state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, D-Chicago, is promoting the state’s new Illinois Get Hired website to help residents find work during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
“As a result of the unprecedented health crisis, many Illinoisans have been put out of work and are struggling to find employment,” said LaPointe. “That is why I want to raise awareness about our state’s new job website to help residents get back on their feet.”
In response to the economic impact of the outbreak, LaPointe is promoting the state’s new website Illinois Get Hired to help residents find employment. Businesses looking to hire can post job openings and search resumes, and those looking for jobs can find opportunities in their area and take advantage of virtual job fairs.
