CHICAGO – In response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, state Rep. Delia Ramirez, D-Chicago, and Alderman LaSpata collaborated with Rincon Family Services to reach out to local businesses and non-profit organizations to provide hand sanitizers and information on the upcoming 2020 Census.

“It is important that we continue to reach out to local businesses and non-profit organizations to make sure they are supported and have the resources they need to get through the COVID pandemic. We must also continue to safely raise awareness about the 2020 Census so everyone can be counted and our communities can have the resources they will need to recover once this crisis passes,” said Ramirez, “I am thankful to Alderman LaSpata and Rincon Family Services for their collaboration and leadership on this local outreach initiative. We must all work together to flatten the curve by ensuring local organizations have the resources they need to stay safe, protect the public’s health and adhere to social distancing guidelines set by medical experts.”
