LaPointe Urges Public Health Precautions, Refers Community Members to IL Department of Public Health

CHICAGO – To prioritize public health, state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, D-Chicago, is urging residents to take proactive measures to protect their health. LaPointe is reminding residents to stay informed on developments with the coronavirus pandemic with accurate and up-to-date information provided on the Illinois Department of Public Health’s website, www.dph.illinois.gov.

“Above all else, my top priority is to advocate for and safeguard the public health and safety of our community,” said LaPointe. “We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as they become available. In the meantime, I strongly urge residents to stay informed on news and precautionary measures by referring to the Illinois Department of Public Health website.”
