ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – To meet with residents face-to-face, state Rep. Mark Walker, D-Arlington Heights, is hosting a Question and Answer event on March 2, starting at 10 a.m. at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, located at 1801 W. Central Rd. in Arlington Heights.

“Being able to sit down with residents one-on-one and hearing from them directly is important to me,” Walker said. “I look forward to every opportunity to hear from residents, especially while we have the opportunity to highlight such important local resources like our senior center.”

With the insight provided by community members he meets, Walker has been a vigilant advocate for comprehensive property tax reform to bring much needed relief to the middle-class. Last year, he supported a measure that would remove the need for seniors to reapply for the Senior Citizens Homestead Exemption to help reduce the burden of property taxes on senior citizens wallets.

For more information regarding future events, please contact Walker’s full-time constituent services office at (847) 749-1137, or by sending an email to Contact@StateRepWalker53.com.
