LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – To expand her availability to constituents, State Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, D-Libertyville, is hosting three upcoming Mary on the Matters constituent meet and greets. Edly-Allen’s events will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 11 am to noon at the Long Grove Coffee Co. located at 126 Old McHenry Rd in Long Grove, on Monday, March 23 from 10 am to 11 am at the Ela Public Library located at 275 Mohawk Trail in Lake Zurich, and on Monday, April 20 from 9 am to 10 am at the Deer Park Panera located at 20530 Rand Rd. in Deer Park.

“It’s my priority to hear directly from residents about their concerns, share updates from the legislative session and hear feedback on the current session from my constituents,” Edly-Allen said. “I’m excited to hear what issues local residents would like to see addressed in the upcoming months while in Springfield.”

Rep. Edly-Allen will answer questions from constituents in a more personal, one-on-one setting. The event is free and open to the public. Edly-Allen hosts events at libraries, local coffee shops and restaurants to give residents an opportunity to share their ideas in a more casual atmosphere.

“State government works best when elected officials listen to members of the community to solve the difficult problems we face,” Edly-Allen added. “I’m looking forward to a productive legislative session, and I’m eager to continue speaking with local families about the issues important in every single neighborhood.”
