SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, is hosting a Senior Issues Advisory Committee event to discuss issues impacting elder residents in the community. The event is set for Friday, Feb. 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Clarendale of Addison Senior Living Community, located at 1651 West Lake Street in Addison.
“While I encourage all residents of District 45 to contact me any time with their concerns, it’s important to me to have an open, accessible forum which Seniors can attend together to discuss issues of particular importance to them,” Pappas said. “Now that we’re back to work in Springfield, I want to ensure I’m aware of all concerns that matter to seniors and their loved ones in our community so that I can be their voice in the General Assembly. Hosting these forums will help ensure I bring our community’s message to Springfield.”
Pappas’s event is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, please call Pappas’ district office at 224-520-8838.
