BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – State Rep. Daniel Didech, D-Buffalo Grove, is inviting residents to share their thoughts on the issues that matter most to them at his “Donuts with Dan” event on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. at Vernon Area Public Library located at 300 Olde Half Day Rd., Lincolnshire.
“As a public servant, I want to ensure that our community’s voice is truly represented in state government,” Didech said. “My ‘Donuts with Dan’ events help me hear directly from constituents about the issues that matter most to them.”
Didech has held “Donuts with Dan” events throughout the past year to hear directly from constituents about the issues they care about and receive invaluable input on his work in Springfield. Last year, with the assistance of constituents, Didech introduced and/or supported legislation to address gun violence, protect teens’ health, and advocate for affordable, quality health care. This event is free and open to the public.
“Although there remains a lot of work to be done, I am optimistic about this spring session and bringing our community’s perspective to Springfield,” Didech said. “In order to build a stronger Illinois and a stronger middle class, we need to make sure local voices are part of the legislative process.”
