STEELEVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Nathan Reitz, D-Steeleville, recently met with leaders from Egyptian Electric Cooperative Association and Monroe County Electric Cooperative (MCEC) to discuss the groups’ concerns and legislative priorities in the coming year and tour the MCEC office in Waterloo.

“I was glad to meet with local electric cooperative officials and to hear about their thoughts and concerns for the coming year,” Reitz said. “Electric co-ops supply the rural parts of my district with electricity and are very involved in the communities that they serve.  As state representative, it’s important for me to continually have discussions with community leaders and residents on what their legislative concerns are for the 2020 legislative session.”

For more information, Reitz can be reached at 618-282-7284 or repnreitz@gmail.com.
