GURNEE, Ill. – To hear feedback and answer questions about pending legislation, state Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, is hosting a legislative forum on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Warren-Newport Public Library, located at 224 O’Plaine Rd. in Gurnee.

“This event provides residents a great opportunity to ask any questions they have about new legislation that impacts their lives and our state,” said Mason. “I am excited to share updates about the work I have done, as well as hear new ideas from the members of our community.”

Mason will be present at the event to discuss legislative updates. The legislative forum is free-flowing and residents will have opportunities throughout to ask questions and share their concerns about state issues and legislation. Attendees will be able to have an open and friendly conversation with Mason about new legislation she is working on and other proposals being considered in Springfield.

This free event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and comments.

“I am committed to representing the people of my district to the best of my ability, and I want them to know their thoughts and views guide all of the decisions I make,” said Mason. “I encourage residents to attend my upcoming legislative forum to freely share their feedback, and for anyone who cannot attend, please feel free to contact my office to set up a time to speak with me.”
