ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – Residents will have the opportunity to connect with their representative face-to-face and share thoughts on the issues that matter most to them at Coffee with Mark, hosted by state Rep. Mark Walker, D-Arlington Heights, on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 9:30 a.m. at the Mount Prospect Public Library, located at 10 S. Emerson St, in Mount Prospect.
“Being able to sit down with residents one-on-one and hearing from them directly is important to me,” Walker said. “I look forward to every opportunity to hear from residents, particularly as we become more active in Springfield in the coming months.”
Walker has been committed to providing helpful resources to the community free of charge. Recently, Walker’s office has helped district residents reclaim over $850,000 through the Treasurer’s ICash program. He will continue to showcase a dedication to the community through events such as the ICash program assistance, as well as by forging personal relationships through Coffee with Mark events.
“Feedback I receive at these events directly impacts the legislation I introduce at the Capitol,” Walker said. “I enjoy hearing the real voices of the community so I can make sure I am representing them in the best way.”
