AURORA, Ill. – Continuing her weekly routine to meet with constituents for Coffee every Monday morning, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, has announced the locations and times of her “Coffee with Kifowit” events in February.
“These informal community meetings give me the opportunity to hear directly from local residents about what issues they are facing with the state of Illinois,” said Kifowit. “Being able to host these events at a local coffee shop supports local businesses and offers attendees a comfortable place for casual conversation.”
“Coffee with Kifowit” events give residents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Kifowit in an informal setting to discuss state topics, ask questions or share what issues they have with the state and local community. The “Coffee with Kifowit” events are scheduled throughout February on the following dates:
- Monday, Feb. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Pomegranate Café, located at 55 S. Commons Dr. in Aurora.
- Monday, Feb. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Maxfield’s, located at 2290 Ogden Ave. in Aurora.
- Monday, Feb. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Benny’s Place, located at 1158 Douglas Rd. in Oswego.
- Monday, Feb. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Panera, located at 2775 Showplace Dr. in Naperville.
“As state representative, it is my responsibility to be accessible to residents all over the district and to listen to the people of our community,” said Kifowit. “I encourage anyone who has questions or concerns about the state of Illinois and what issues we are facing, please come join me for a conversation over a cup of coffee one of these Mondays.”
