Conroy Visits North Elementary Drumline

VILLA PARK, Ill – On a recent visit to Villa Park’s North Elementary School, state Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, met with faculty and staff and made a special visit to the 4^th and 5^th grade drumline and their instructor, Patrick Holmes.

“Sponsoring these talented 4th and 5th graders and supporting the selfless efforts of their teacher Patrick Holmes is a source of great pride for me,” said Conroy. ​“As an artist by trade, I know how important the visual and performing arts can be to developing young minds and teaching children about creativity, discipline and teamwork. Mr. Holmes is teaching his young musicians how hard work, practice, and dedication pays off in the long run and we’re all better for it.”
