“In just one year, we began the process of reining in property taxes and making Illinois a leader in protecting a woman’s right to choose,” Didech said. “This progress would not have been possible without the involvement of the community members that shared their feedback and showed support for these efforts.”
Didech has held “Donuts with Dan” events throughout the year to hear directly from residents about the issues they are concerned about and receive feedback or ideas on his work in Springfield. With the help of local high school students, he introduced legislation to increase youth civic participation. Didech is encouraging community members to reach out to him with legislation ideas via email at info@repdidech.com or by phone at 847-478-9909.
“More work remains to be done and it’s my hope that our community will continue to be involved in the process,” Didech said. “I want to continue hearing from and working with the community so we can continue reining in property taxes and keeping our communities safe from gun violence.”
