AURORA, Ill. – Continuing her advocacy for youth and after-school programs, state Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, recently visited the A-Town Boxing Club in Aurora.
“This boxing club has been an important organization in our community for over 30 years, providing a safe space for local children to come together and find a passion for sports, while also learning important skills like working together as a team and practicing discipline” said Hernandez. “I am so grateful we have so many hardworking folks here in our community who take time out of their busy lives to ensure our youth have quality resources like this one.”
