DES PLAINES, Ill – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D- Des Plaines, will host a seminar on Medicaid and planning for the future on Monday, Dec. 2 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 1610 at Oakton Community College, located at 1600 E. Golf Road in Des Plaines.
“Many local residents and their families depend on Medicaid for their health,” Moylan said. “They need to know all of the options available to them so they can secure the best coverage for which they are eligible.”
The “Medicaid and the Importance of Planning” seminar will be co-hosted by state Rep. Jonathon Carroll, D-Northbrook. The speaker, Elder Law Attorney Matthew Margolis of MargolisWeldon, will speak about Medicaid, long term care facilities and how to protect your financial well-being throughout these processes.
“We want to help provide the best information available so residents are capable of making the best decisions for their medical care and financial stability,” Moylan said. “Additionally, representatives from my office will be on hand to assist with any other state matters that residents may have.”
