ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – State Rep. Mark Walker, D-Arlington Heights, and state Sen. Ann Gillespie, D-Arlington Heights, are inviting residents to a Constituent Holiday Party to bring in the holidays with a festive meet and greet on Monday, Dec. 9 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Arlington Ale House, located at 111 W. Campbell St., 3rd floor, in Arlington Heights.
“As we end another eventful year, Sen. Gillespie and I wanted to host a festive and light-hearted event for our constituents to meet with us and one another as we look to 2020,” Walker said. “We know the holiday season is about giving thanks and giving back as well, which is why we’re teaming up with Northwest Compass to provide food for those in need.”
While not required, Walker and Gillespie are asking attendees to donate canned goods at the event to benefit local crisis intervention center Northwest Compass. Light refreshments will be served and no reservation is required.
In addition to the holiday party, Walker and Gillespie are hosting an end of the year town hall on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Mount Prospect Public Library, 10 S. Emerson St., and Walker will host his final Coffee with Mark event of the year on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Panera Bread in Arlington Heights located at 5 W. Rand Rd.
