Moylan Invites Residents to “Get Covered Illinois” Seminar

DES PLAINES, Ill – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plaines, will host a “Get Covered Illinois” seminar regarding the Affordable Care Act’s open enrollment period this upcoming Monday, Nov. 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Des Plaines Public Library located at 1501 Ellinwood Ave. in Des Plaines.

“We are making sure that all residents have all the information they need to enroll and begin receiving health care coverage,” Moylan said. “Families depend on having access to health care coverage, and we need to make sure there are no obstacles preventing them from affordably receiving it.”

The event will be held by Moylan and representatives from the Illinois Department of Insurance. The seminar will advise attendees to enroll for health care coverage before the Dec. 15 deadline, as well as provide information on how to do so.

“Our constituents deserve access to the highest quality health care available to them,” Moylan said. “We want everyone to be aware of their options so they save money and receive the health care coverage they deserve.”
