ALTON, Ill. – Continuing her mission of providing services and assistance to local communities across the Riverbend region, state Rep. Monica Bristow, D-Alton, will be hosting an I-Cash Event in Wood River and Satellite Office Hours in Roxana on Nov. 22.

“The state currently holds more than $3 billion in unclaimed property in the form of uncashed checks, stocks dividends, tax refunds or other property, and I want to ensure that money is returned to the rightful owners,” said Bristow. “People can stop by the Wood River Farm Fresh on Nov. 22 to see if they have lost property and receive help to file a free claim to have it returned.”

On Friday, Nov. 22, Bristow will be hosting events:

  • I-Cash Event
    • 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Location: Wood River Farm Fresh, 515 S. Central Ave, Wood River
  • Satellite Office Hours
    • 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

“Hosting Satellite Office Hours and I-Cash Events are two ways I can make sure residents have access to the services of my office and an opportunity to learn about lost property that way be owed to them.” said Bristow. “I know not everyone is able to make it to my office in Alton, which is why I host Satellite Office Hours to offer assistance with receiving a professional license, FOID and concealed carry applications and renewals, and assistance with state agencies.”
