Yingling Connects Community and Health Providers at Health Fair

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, partnered with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to host a Health Screening and Resource Fair for community members last Saturday. At the event, attendees were able to get free flu shots and screenings for glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, and more. A variety of community organizations were also in attendance to pass out information on the health services that they provide.

“Providing free services to the community, especially ones that are as important as health screenings and flu shots, is something that I am very committed to doing,” Yingling said. “Connecting constituents and local health organizations, as well as providing flu shots and health screenings, is vital to keeping residents as healthy and safe from illness as possible. Thank you to all the local organizations and the Illinois Department of Public Health for partnering with me on this great event and for all the critical work you do to keep our community healthy.”
