Hernandez Thanks Community for Women’s Supply Drive Donations

AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is thanking local residents for donating tampons, pads and other necessary hygiene items to her recent supply drive benefiting Mutual Ground, a local crisis intervention center in Aurora.

“In addition to physical and emotional traumas, many domestic violence survivors also face financial distress, making it extremely hard to afford necessities and personal hygiene items,” said Hernandez. “I am so grateful for members of our community for donating hundreds of products during our October supply drive, all to benefit the families who utilize Mutual Ground’s services. Mutual Ground provides crucial services to women and families in need, and we cannot thank them enough for the work they continue to do.”
