OTTAWA, Ill. – Working to support veterans and service members in his district, state Rep. Lance Yednock, D- Ottawa, is working with Steven Kreitzer from LaSalle County Veterans Assistance Commission to discuss issues facing local veterans. The event is on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Ottawa Veterans of Foreign War hall, located at 1501 La Salle St. in Ottawa.

“Veterans have made incredible sacrifices for our country and they should know about the benefits that are available to them,” Yednock said. “I want local servicemen and women to know that we have their backs, and that I will fight every day in Springfield to improve their lives and make sure they get the respect they have deserve.”  

Yednock’s committee aims to address a variety of issues impacting veterans and service members within the area. Yednock’s event is free and open to any veterans, service members, their families or other residents who are interested in discussing issues facing veterans.
