GURNEE, Ill. – In an effort to connect to her community and learn about the issues that matter most to her constituents, state Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, is hosting Join Joyce for Coffee and Conversation on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Einstein Bros. Bagels, located at 6641 Grand Ave. in Gurnee.

“Sitting down with residents one-on-one to hear about their passion for our community and what they care about is one of my favorite parts of the job,” Mason said. “I look forward to every opportunity to hear from and connect with constituents on issues big and small.”

Mason frequently hosts constituent coffees in a variety of locally owned businesses in the region, Including He Brews Coffee Shop in Winthrop Harbor, Daisy’s Artish Cafe in Lake Villa, Cafe Book in Antioch, and Callie’s Coffee Bar and Cafe in Zion. Mason’s Join Joyce for Coffee sessions give residents an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas with Mason in a more casual, informal setting. RSVPs are not required.

“The feedback I get from my community directly impacts the work I do here and in the Capitol,” Mason said. “I highly encourage all residents to come out and share their thought with me next Saturday.”
