OGLESBY, Ill. – Fighting to build a stronger Illinois and middle class, state Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, invited employers and job seekers to the Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) for a job fair hosted by his office.

“I understand the hassle of having to take days traveling around, filling out application after application, handing out resume after resume,” Yednock said. “I want to help bring job seekers and employers together by filling open vacancies that our local business owners need to fill, which will help the economy grow. I appreciate IVCC partnering with me on this event, and I look forward to future events and partnerships that help families and businesses.”

A dozen employers from around the area attended the job fair. Residents who were unable to attend and are seeking employment can reach out to Rep. Yednock’s constituent office at (815) 324-5055 or email StateRepYednock@gmail.com for more information.
