CHICAGO – At their joint office open house event, state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, D-Chicago, joined state Sen. Robert Martwick, D-Chicago, to welcome residents to their new full-time constituent services office in Jefferson Park.

“Ensuring that constituents’ voices are truly heard starts with listening to them to hear about the issues that matter most to them,” said LaPointe. “That is why I am here to advocate for the issues that touch our communities, like protecting workers’ wages, safeguarding their benefits, securing a quality education for our children, backing our educators, and pushing for affordable healthcare services.”

Representative LaPointe and Senator Martwick strategically shared the office to better meet the needs of their constituents. In addition to receiving feedback on a wide range of issues, the office also acts as a liaison for constituents by helping them get into contact with other state offices, agencies, and services.
