LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Continuing to be as transparent and accessible as possible, state Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, D-Libertyville, is announcing her October satellite office hours and coffee shop meet and greet sessions for local residents.

“These events are wonderful opportunities for me to get out in the community and discuss in detail what issues are facing the residents of the 51st District,” said Edly-Allen. “I encourage anyone who has questions about the state, would like to discuss a certain issue with me, or would just like to learn more about what I’ve been working on in the capitol to come to one of my events this month.”

Rep. Edly-Allen is hosting “Mary on the Matters,” an opportunity for residents to speak with Edly-Allen one-on-one in a more casual setting, on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 10 am to 11 am at the Deer Park Panera located at 20530 Rand Rd. in Deer Park, and on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 am to 11 am at the Ela Township Library located at 275 Mohawk Trail in Lake Zurich.

Rep. Edly-Allen is hosting satellite office hours throughout the 51st District. Satellite office hours give residents an opportunity to meet with a member of Edly-Allen’s staff and receive assistance on state issues or help navigating state agencies and programs.

Edly-Allen’s satellite office hours are from 2 pm to 4:30 pm:

  • Thursday, Oct. 10 – Fremont Area Library; 1170 N. Midlothian Road in Mundelein
  • Tuesday, Oct. 15 – Cook Memorial Library; 413 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville
  • Thursday, Oct. 17 – Barrington Area Library; 505 N. Northwest Highway in Barrington
  • Thursday, Oct. 24 – Ela Public Library; 275 Mohawk Trail in Lake Zurich

“Satellite Office Hours are hosted by my district staff and are a great way to proactively reach out to community members that might not make it to my full-time office in Libertyville,” said Edly-Allen. “I encourage anyone who needs assistance from my constituent office, to visit us at any of the locations.”
