LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Focusing on remaining accessible, state Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, D-Libertyville, is hosting several opportunities for residents to ask questions and receive assistance with state issues during the month of September.

“Throughout the summer I’ve been working hard to connect with local residents by knocking on doors, hosting events and meeting in person constituents,” said Edly-Allen. “It’s important that people see firsthand their government and their representatives are accessible and responsive. As veto session approaches, it is necessary to hear from families about our community’s priorities.”

Rep. Edly-Allen is meeting with residents over coffee on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 to 11 am at Lee Donuts located at 124 Peterson Rd. in Libertyville and on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at Barbara’s Bookstore located at 720 Hawthorn Center in Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills.  Rep. Edly-Allen will be available to listen to constituent ideas as well as answer any questions in a more personal conversation.

A member of Rep. Edly-Allen’s staff will be available to meet with residents and assist with state matters at four upcoming mobile office hours.
