WORTH, Ill. – State Rep. Fran Hurley, D-Chicago, is hosting satellite office hours at the Worth Public Library later this month to bring updates about new laws that have been enacted and discuss local issues facing families.

“I encourage local residents to stop by my upcoming satellite office hours to share their perspective on important issues facing our state, or to share ideas for legislation that could help more our state forward,” said Hurley. “Hosting satellite office hours is important to me to ensure that I am as accessible as possible to the residents that I represent.”

Hurley is hosting satellite office hours on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Worth Public Library, located at 6917 W. 111th St. in Worth. A member of Hurley’s staff will be available to discuss issues facing the state as well as provide access to state-related services.

“A wide variety of free services are available through my office, including help with applications for professional licensure, college affordability and veterans’ benefits,” continued Hurley. “I look forward to continuing to host satellite office hours throughout our area to help families access the assistance they need.”
