Yingling Visits Local Senior Center to Gain Senior Perspective

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, continued meeting with constituents around his district by visiting Hillcrest Nursing Center. Seniors face problems and challenges that are unique to them, and Yingling is committed to hearing directly from them to better understand what resources they need. This summer, Yingling held a Senior Fraud Seminar to help protect local seniors from scam artists looking to take advantage of them. He also held a town hall for residents of a local senior community to hear about the issues they face.

“Ensuring that everyone in my community feels heard and represented is something that I take very seriously,” Yingling said. “Having one-on-one conversations is the best way for me to learn about the issues people face and what I need to do in Springfield to fight for them. Visits like these are invaluable. I appreciate everyone who gave me feedback and took time to speak with me.”
