RED BUD, Ill. – State Rep. Nathan Reitz, D-Steeleville, has added new satellite office hours to welcome more residents of local communities to join him and discuss issues facing the district or to gain assistance from his office.

“Satellite office hours are always a great opportunity to meet with new people from local communities or to bring the services that my office can provide to a new area of the district,” Reitz said. “I want to be a strong advocate for Southern Illinois in Springfield. These visits give me a chance to talk one-on-one with residents about their thoughts and concerns on issues facing our state so that I can be the strongest voice possible for our region.”

Reitz is hosting satellite office hours on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at:

  • Dupo Village Hall, located at 107 North 2nd Street – 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • East Carondelet Village Hall, located at 950 State Street – 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“In addition to helping me stay in touch with residents, satellite office hours let me bring the services my office can provide to new communities,” Reitz said. “I’ll be in Dupo and East Carondelet so people who might not be able to make it to Red Bud for something like employment resources, FOID card application assistance, or help with veterans’ benefits can meet with me to get the support they need.”
