CHICAGO – State Rep. Jaime Andrade, D-Chicago, and Aldermen Ariel Reboyras will host a Pet Fair next month, offering a range of discounted services for pets.
“Our pets are like family, so it’s important that they get the medical care they need,” Andrade said. “I know that some families struggle to afford medical care for their pets, and that’s why my pet fair is a great resource for pet owners to take advantage of so that they can properly vaccinate, register and microchip their pets at a discount.”
Andrade will join Ald. Ariel Reboyras in offering a low-cost vaccine clinic, discounted dog registration, and microchipping for City of Chicago residents, provided by the City of Chicago Animal Care and Control. Free microchipping will be provided to the first 20 pets. All pets over 4 months of age must have current rabies vaccination and a current dog license or will be required to purchase one at the time of the clinic. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier; all cats must be in a carrier. Pets requiring muzzles must be muzzled at the event. Pet owners must be able to handle their pet around other animals. This event will be cash only, so please bring exact change for the following services:
- $7 for DA2PPL
- $15 for Rabies vaccinations
- $15 Micro-chipping
- $5 dog registration
- $50 dog registration
