Costa Howard brings Brookfield Zoo ‘Animal Ambassador’ Program to Glen Ellyn

LOMBARD, Ill. – State Rep. Terra Costa Howard, D-Glen Ellyn, partnered with Brookfield Zoo to bring critters to the campers at the Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center last week, through the zoo’s Animal Ambassador program.

“The staff and volunteers at the Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center’s summer camp help students keep on learning ­– and having fun – while school’s out,” said Costa Howard. “By giving these kids a chance to get up close and personal with these fascinating animals, Brookfield Zoo is teaching important lessons about conservation and wildlife protection. I’m proud to partner with Brookfield Zoo in offering children this incredible learning experience, right here in our district.”
