Stuart Tours Goshen Coffee Company Facility in Edwardsville

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, visited and toured the facilities at Goshen Coffee Company in Edwardsville. It was an opportunity to discuss the challenges and rewards of owning a small business and to understand their role within the local community.

“I knew that Goshen Coffee Company has been very successful in Edwardsville and the surrounding communities, but to see their operations behind the scenes shows how much goes into the coffee making process,” said Stuart. “The opportunity to tour gave me a better understanding of the work they do, and their commitment to the community.”

The Goshen Coffee Company has been operating since 2002 with the mission to give everyone access to specialty coffee. Stuart uses business visits in order to talk with businesses about their unique concerns, as well as gain an understanding to what obstacles local businesses face.

“It was so interesting to tour the facility and learn more about the process,” continued Stuart. “I’d like to thank the staff of Goshen Coffee Company for taking the time out of their busy day to show me the facility.”
