BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. – Continuing her efforts to provide constituents with direct access to state government, state Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, partnered with the Office of the Attorney General to provide a presentation on consumer protection and the Office of the Treasurer to speak about their I-Cash service at her monthly Pastries with Pappas event.
“Consumer fraud is a highly prevalent issue throughout the state, and having the ability to identify misleading and fraudulent behavior through various mediums puts us at an advantage,” said Pappas. “I want to thank both the Office of the Attorney General for coming to speak more on preventative measures, and the Office of the Treasurer for informing residents of the I-Cash program that can help residents discover unclaimed forgotten property.”
