OTTAWA, Ill. – Wanting to hear the thoughts and concerns of folks who have to work during the day, state Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, will be hosting satellite Office Hours on Friday, July 26th from 5-8 p.m. at the Ottawa City Hall, located at 301 W Madison St.

“I am here as a resource for the residents of Illinois Valley and I look forward to being of service with any questions or concerns that folks may have regarding state and local issues,” Yednock said. “It’s important as a representative to be able to hear from residents in person and talk about what matters to them most.”

These additional Office Hours in Ottawa are a way that Yednock can connect with residents in the 76th District. Due to the size of the district, it’s not practical to expect residents be able to have the time during regular office hours to come and talk to Yednock. These additional evening office hours will take place to ensure anyone who might have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding the local community or Illinois are able to be heard.

“It takes close to an hour to drive from Hennepin to Marseilles on a good day, and so I want to be able to provide a more convenient time and place for people to come by and talk to me,” Yednock said. “I plan to have these additional office hours throughout the district for the foreseeable future because it’s important that any questions or issues are being answered and addressed.”
