AURORA, Ill. –State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is hosting local residents for a coffee meeting on Saturday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Two Brothers Roundhouse, located at 205 N. Broadway in Aurora.

“Listening to the concerns of my constituents is my highest priority, and that is why I am inviting residents from my district to meet with me to ask questions and share opinions,” said Hernandez. “As a state representative, it is important to make myself accessible to those I serve, and small meetings like this allow me to talk one-on-one with residents and hear their feedback directly.”

Hernandez is inviting local residents to join her for a cup of coffee and a conversation on state and local issues. Hernandez will also discuss recently passed legislation and answer any questions residents have. The event is free and open to the public.

“I hope that anyone who has an issue or a concern will consider coming to have a cup of coffee with me and discuss ways to address these issues in Springfield,” said Hernandez. “By understanding residents’ concerns, I can be a better advocate for their needs. I look forward to facilitating a great community discussion.”
