Yingling Invites Community Members to a Meet and Greet

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – After a busy legislative session, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is providing residents with a legislative update and getting their feedback on the measures that were passed at a Meet and Greet. The event will take place at Something’s Brewing, located at 1126 E Washington Street in Grayslake, at 2 p.m on July 13.

“This summer I have had a fantastic time meeting and talking to people all over my district,” said Yingling. “It is important for me to hear from the community, see what issues they are facing and learn how I can help alleviate their concerns.”

Yingling has been busy going throughout the district to get feedback from community members and community leaders alike. He has met with leaders in business and education, toured libraries and veterans’ centers, visited hospitals and senior centers, and has held many events throughout the district to talk to his constituents, including town halls and meet and greets.

“I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to give me their thoughts on what they would like to see going forward,” said Yingling. “I look forward to the rest of the summer and getting to hear from even more of my constituents.”
