NORTHLAKE, Ill. – After an eventful spring legislative session, state Rep. Kathy Willis, D-Northlake, is co-hosting a town hall meeting with state Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, and state Sen. Don Harmon, D-Oak Park, to help inform residents about the many changes in Springfield impacting the local area and Illinois.

“We had a very productive legislative session, passing reforms that will build a stronger Illinois for every middle-class family throughout the state,” Willis said. “I encourage residents to come to the town hall to learn about the legislation we advanced and how we plan to continue our momentum to build a stronger Illinois through fairer taxes and property tax relief for the middle class.”

Willis will join Rep. Lilly and Sen. Harmon on Wednesday, July 17 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Centre at North located at 10040 Addison Rd. in Franklin Park. Residents will have the opportunity to learn about legislation that was passed in Springfield and to voice their opinion on issues facing the state. The event is free and open to the public

“Whether it was passing a fair tax, raising the minimum wage, or protecting access to health care, we made important strides to lift up working families this year,” Willis said. “Hearing from residents about the issues that they are passionate about helps me do the best job I can representing our community in Springfield.
