Yingling Works with Business Community to Support Small and Local Businesses in Illinois

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, met with the owner of Super Mercado Villasenor, a local small business. This business visit is the first of many Yingling is planning to do over the summer months in an effort to gain information about the state of businesses in his district and what he can do to help them. Growing up in a family that ran a small business, Yingling knows how important small businesses are to communities, and is committed to fighting for them in Springfield.

“Supporting our local small businesses is a top priority of mine, and something that I’ve fought for tirelessly since entering the General Assembly,” said Yingling. “Small businesses are vital for local economies, and meeting with the owners of these businesses and hearing their needs and concerns is invaluable when it comes to crafting legislation that supports small businesses. I look forward to meeting with many small business owners throughout the summer so I can be as informed as possible about what is needed to help them grow and thrive.”
