ANTIOCH, Ill. – Following the end of her first legislative session, state Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, visited the Antioch Public Library District to host Read with your Rep., an event that featured Mason reading government-centric picture books to children.

“This session, a lot was accomplished for the people of Illinois. From strengthening protections for seniors to funding the first capital plan Illinois has seen in a decade, I am excited to connect with constituents and discuss the things I accomplished during my first session in Springfield,” said Mason. “I am grateful to everyone who attended my reading event at the library in Antioch, and I am looking forward to all the other engaging events my office has lined up for this summer.”

Mason is using her time away from Springfield to serve her constituents by hosting community events, organizing educational seminars and creating new channels for residents to voice their concerns to her. Constituents interested in sharing feedback with Mason are asked to please contact Mason’s constituent service office by calling 847-485-9986 or emailing info@repjoycemason.com.
