AURORA, Ill. – Continuing her efforts to stay accessible to residents of the 84th District, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, is announcing her schedule of “Coffee with Kifowit” events throughout the month of July.
“As state representative, it is my responsibility to be accessible to the residents of my district and to listen to the people of our community, so I can better represent them while in Springfield,” said Kifowit. “I encourage anyone who has questions or concerns about our state government and what issues are facing us here in Illinois, to please come join me for a conversation over a cup of coffee at one of my events.”
“Coffee with Kifowit” events give residents of the community an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Kifowit in an informal setting to discuss state topics, ask questions, or share what issues may happening in their communities. The “Coffee with Kifowit” events are scheduled throughout July on the following dates:
Monday, July 1st from 8:30 am to 9:30 am: Pomegranate Café, located at 55 S. Commons Drive in Aurora.
• Monday, July 8th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am: Maxfield’s, located at 2290 Ogden Avenue in Aurora.
• Monday, July 15th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am: Benny’s Place, located at 1158 Douglas Road in Oswego.
• Monday, July 22nd from 8:30 am to 9:30 am: Panera, located at 2775 Showplace Drive in Naperville.
“My district stretches across many different communities in DuPage, Kane, Will and Kendall Counties. While my Aurora office is always accessible, it is very important to me that I am proactive and offering opportunities to personally talk to residents,” said Kifowit. “I’m looking forward to meeting the residents who plan to stop by and share their concerns and ideas with me.”
