SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, recently held a seminar to teach her community about the property value appeals process created to provide potential tax relief for taxpayers who need financial help.
“The property value appeals process can provide crucial relief for members of my community who are impacted by rising property taxes, and it’s important they know how the process works,” Pappas said. “Appealing the property valuation can be a step forward to lower property taxes that impair our middle class. I will continue to work hard to lessen the tax burden on hard-working families.”
