SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – State Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, is hosting a town hall meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Township of Schaumburg, located at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates to discuss updates from the 2019 Legislative Session.

“With session coming to an end, there are a lot of important updates to discuss with constituents,” said Mussman. “Hosting town hall meetings provides an opportunity to speak directly with residents about their concerns, hear feedback and answer questions about new laws and policies.”

This will be the third town hall meeting that Mussman is hosting this year and will focus on issues such as the budget, education, economic development, taxes and health care. The event is free and open to the public.

“This meeting will help ensure that constituents are getting the information they need on new bills that passed this year,” said Mussman. “Having face-to-face conversations and answering questions will help members of our community have a better understanding of new legislation taking effect. I encourage all local residents to attend.”
