AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, is asking residents to share their thoughts with her while she concludes the spring legislative session by attending coffee shop meetings with representatives from her office.
“I will be in Springfield for much of May focusing on the major issues facing our state, and I want to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear,” Kifowit said. “The next few weeks offer a major opportunity to move our state forward. I want to make sure people have an opportunity to speak out so I can tell people in the Capitol exactly what our families expect.”
Kifowit will meet constituents on Monday, May 6 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Pomegranate Café—55 S. Commons Dr. in Aurora—before heading to the Capitol for the final weeks of the spring legislative session. While Kifowit will spend much of May in Springfield for session, she will continue to hold coffee meetings to listen to constituent opinions and share the latest news.
