BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – State Rep. Daniel Didech, D-Buffalo Grove, is inviting residents to enjoy a cup of coffee while discussing state and local issues at his “Donuts with Dan” events in Lincolnshire and Buffalo Grove throughout the month of May.

“Meeting people from the community face-to-face is the best way to learn where they stand on the issues,” said Didech. “As the Legislature moves towards the final weeks of the legislative session, these events dowel help ensure I know where our community stands on the issues being discussed.”

The first event will be held on Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m., at the Vernon Area Public Library’s Youth Services Room, located at 300 Olde Half Day Rd in Lincolnshire. The second gathering will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m., at The Buffalo Restaurant in Buffalo Grove, located at 1180 W. Lake Cook Rd.

Didech hopes that the event will help to make state government more effective for local families and ensure their views are represented in the legislative process. The event is free, open the public, and will feature complimentary coffee and pastries.

“Above all else, I want to find ways to make state government more effective for local families,” said Didech. “The best ideas for how to do that always come from the community.”
